A copeopod, a type of marine zooplankton

Zooplankton is a term for all the microscopic animals that float around in the water column. We are interested in knowing how zooplankton respond to ocean acidification and how this affects grazing on other zooplankton as well as on phytoplankton.  We are also interested in knowing in general how many are present, what stage of their life-history they are in, whether they are producing eggs, feeding, and are in general good health.
